In today’s day and age, technology is becoming more and more important in everyday life. We believe children from all socioeconomic backgrounds should have their own computers and be knowledgeable of computer skills in order to have successful futures.

A digital divide exists between families that can afford personal computers at home and families that cannot. Children growing up without access to technology are less likely to pursue careers in the tech industry. If your children or your students do not have proper access to computers, no worries, tell us by filling out the application form.

RRRcomputer.org MacBooks Laptop Computer Scholarship Program

To support our children’s future, the RRRcomputer.org Computer Scholarship Program provides a partnership with Bay Area schools to supply qualifying children with computer that can improve their digital literacy and change their future.

The program is run in partnership with schools with an essay contest and computer distribution event.

Program Steps

The RRRcomputer School Free Computer Scholarship Partnership Program entails the following:

1. School needs to be within RRRcomputer.org’s coverage area
2. Students need to be pre-qualified based on economic need
3. Students must submit an essay application explaining how having a computer will help their education and future
4. Schools and RRRcomputer.org set up timing for essay submissions
5. RRRcomputer.org reviews essay submissions and selects winners
6. RRRcomputer.org notifies school of winners
7. School and RRRcomputer.org set up school event to distribute computers and scholarship certificates

Due to our location, right now applications are only open to residents in the San Francisco Bay Area.
